German manufacturer of Voice over IP phones picks up three awards

snom Technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice over IP phones, has picked up three international industry awards in recognition of both its technological advances and impressive sales growth. Two of the awards came from analyst house, Frost & Sullivan: the 2008 Award for Growth Strategy Leadership in North America and the Entrepreneurial Company of the Year award for 2009. The third award, the Deloitte Fast 50, recognizes companies with the strongest sector sales growth in Germany: this is the second year that snom has featured in the Fast 50.

In the Frost & Sullivan annual Growth Strategy Leadership awards, snom came top in the Enterprise DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) phone market category. The award was given in recognition of the successful introduction and rapid market adoption of the snom m3 IP DECT handset into the SMB market, and highlights snom’s ability to address the niche SMB DECT market with its cost-effective technology.

snom took its second Frost & Sullivan award thanks to the successful introduction of its SIP-based phone family and the rapid sales growth seen in North America.
Frost & Sullivan’s North American Enterprise Communications Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Award specifically acknowledged snom’s feature-rich and cost-effective phones, as well as its ability to think ahead, its effective communication strategies and its excellent SIP and Open Standards products.

Its most recent addition to the trophy cupboard - The Deloitte Fast 50 Awards - recognize the fastest growing German companies in the technology, communications and life science sectors based on the average sales growth rate for the last five years. snom's impressive 404% sales growth placed it among the top companies in the “Communications /Network Operations” category for the second year running.
